Description
In the directory in the URL:
http://www.shlomifish.org/Files/files/video/
are an .flv and a correspnding .avi file that cannot be played in mplayer-svn-trunk. The .flv was downloaded from:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFTlhxwwkKE
using youtube-dl.
VLC can play them both, and Xine can play the .flv .
Here are some more details:
- I'm using Mandriva Linux Cooker (about to become Mandriva 2009.1)
- I'm using the radeonhd driver with an ATI HD 2600 Pro.
- VLC plays the music from the .avi fine (without displaying the video, that's
actually just a still picture).
- I've compiled mplayer from svn trunk.

sample files are gone, and video was deleted off youtube.
any chance for you to put the sample back up? this time i'll back it up on mplayer server :)

this is just one of those one-frame video and mostly mp3 files.
mplayer has trouble when the audio and video streams do not match duration wise.
confirmed, works in ffplay
also works with mplayer -novideo or -vc asdf
