This has loong been changed in CVS, pre5try2 is pre5 with _only_ security fixes,
and this is intentional (e.g. some people might have older live.com version on
there computer and don't want to update to get security patches).
as an alternative fix use and older version from e.g.
http://ftp.crans.org/pub/videolan/testing/contrib/
