Description
Although ffmpeg's libavcodec is a much faster mpeg2 encoder than mpeg2enc, it
does not generate the navigation packets aka "VOBU" packets needed by dvdauthor
for the creation of a DVD. Without these packets dvdauthor can only index the
mpeg2 stream based on I frames and with most players there will be severe
difficulties with seeking, audio/video synchronization, and the elasped time
display.
