Description
I have had major issues with using DVD menus in mplayer. I tested DVD menus using 2 movies: X-Men 2 and Blade II. For X-Men 2, MPlayer will exit if I go to the chapter selection menu, saying that it reached the end of file. If I try to start Blade II through the menu, the video will just show a black screen. In that case, the only way to play the movie is to start mplayer with dvdnav://1. The menus will often be slow to change, where the audio plays, but the video lags behind and stutters.
I am running Debian Squeeze, and am using the newest version of mplayer
available on debian-multimedia.
