Description
Currently (in version 1.1.r20120721_1) mplayer prevents screensaver even when the movie is stopped. This isn't necessary and causes the screen to be up when mplayer is left stopped and forgotten about.

Summary: | mplayer shouldn't prevent screensaver mode when the video is stopped → mplayer shouldn't prevent energy saving option and screensaver mode when the video is stopped |

Actually, there are two things: screensaver and screen energy saving option under power management in kde4. Power management option is turning screen off after specified interval.
I was talking about the latter: energy saving option. I just verified again, it doesn't get engaged when mplayer is stopped. Once mplayer quits, energy saving option works again.
Both energy saving option and screensaver should get disabled for the time mplayer is playing some video, but not when it is stopped.
Wrong component assignment?
The GUI doesn't influence the screensaver. (BTW, the screensaver works for me!)
