I'd like to propose changing the default
[ speed_mult 0.9091
] speed_mult 1.1
to
[ speed_mult 0.890898718140339
] speed_mult 1.12246204830937
2(−2/12) and 2(2/12) are equal to a decrease/increase of two half notes. The
advantage is that six such decrements or increments amount to a full octave,
i.e. exactly 0.5× or 2.0× the original speed.
It also is likely to sound better when changing the speed of music.
The resulting frequencies when going downwards/upwards from 44100 Hz
