Description

The current Arabic subtitle "ISO-8859-6", though the most common encoding used for Arabic (other than Unicode) is Windows-1256, it is almost the only used encoding for Arabic subtitles.

That is true, but I'm talking about the GUI here, the Arabic encoding entery that is their now is useless and should be replaced, Arabic text are either windows-1265 (and all arabic subtitles that I've seen so far use this) or utf-8 encoded.

Resolution: fixed
Status: newclosed

Added cp1256 to the selection box in SVN r25947.
But please note that gmplayer is no longer officially developed, so esp. if you have issues with it you should consider to start searching for a different MPlayer Gui like e.g. smplayer.
