Description
hello,
i've been noticing an occasional audio defect whenever the audio device has to be opened, such as playback starting or a seek. i've encountered it on all types of compressed and uncompressed audio and video files.
i'm using -ao oss.
i created a one second long 1000hz wave file and ran mplayer with -loop 0, then recorded the output of my soundcard. i'd say that probably one in 50-75 audio device openings is affected by this bug.

look at 2.3935 seconds with audacity, there are odd spikes present on one channel.

this turned out to be a bug in soundcard driver, which has been fixed.
