Description
Full version: mplayer-1.0-0.111.20091029svn.fc12.i686
There is a 2s delay at the end of most tracks/movies with audio. It doesn't always happen, but more than half the time. It happens more often when reaching the end of a track, than when I press q to quit in the middle (though it does happen in both situations.)
This delay happens with audio-only tracks (such as .wav files). And with movies. When I pass -ao null, the delay never happens.
I think it is waiting to be sure that the last of the audio is flushed to the sound card or something. I'm running pulseaudio. This is on a fresh install of Fedora 12 (with all updates applied).
This delay did not happen on my last computer, which was much slower, and also running Fedora 12.
