mplayer version: MPlayer SVN-r32825
Just try the attachment:
1 mplayer avifile.avi -subdelay 1
2 mplayer avifile.avi -subdelay -1 -ass
3 mplayer avifile.avi -subdelay -1
4 mplayer avifile.avi -subdelay 1 -ass
and see that 1 == 2 and 3 == 4.
