Description
Recently I stumbled upon a couple of AVI files with AC3 audio which were NOT
playable by MPlayer but Xine plays them just fine. Looking at the AC3 codec code
(liba52 folder) I realized that MPlayer still uses the old code (from 2001), not
the newer (2003) one. Is it possible to update liba52 folder inside MPlayer or
enable the use of external liba52 library?

There was never a response to my query about sample files and we just updated
our internal liba52 to the last version. I'm closing this bug as WORKSFORME.
