Description
When using mencoder with -vf decimate (for example, 30:0:0:1) and the x264 multithreading (threads=2 or more), odd skipping effects occur. In fades to black, the video does not fade to black fully and smoothly, and various other skipping effects can occur. I've done a couple SVN checkouts and at least the most recent versions have the problem.
This occurance does not seem to be limited to the MinGW build, as I have had a friend test it on Linux and the same problem occurs. It also does not seem to be limited to hardware, but for information I am using an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600. If more elaboration is needed I can try and find somewhere to upload samples of the movie files but I hope that this is enough information.
GCC 4.2.4 was used to compile my build.
