Description
When decoding a dvd into avi format, everything works fine unless
I use the -slang option to try to get subtitles. In which case,
the resulting avi file is severaly unwatchable (about 10 blinks per
second, ALWAYS). Would greatly appreciate suggestions for a fix.
Command line used:
mencoder dvd://1 -slang en -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vhq:vbitrate=1200 -vf crop=720:480:0:0 -oac mp3lame moviename.avi
Machine: A Lenovo X201s laptop running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.
