Description
MPlayer crashes on VP8 WebM files with a signal 11 error when using the "-lavdopts vstats" option.
Without vstats the VP8 videos play back fine, however as soon as the extra option is included, the player crashes. I have tried to use "-vo null -ao null" and "threads=1", but the crashes remained.
I could reproduce the error on multiple x86 and x86-64 PCs on Windows(Sherpya-SVN-Build) and Linux(Ubuntu and OpenSUSE; build from SVN) platforms. The error can be reproduced by calling mplayer on a vp8 webm file in the following way:
mplayer sample.webm -lavdopts vstats
An example video file causing such a crash can be found at:

Output from mplayer on a crash is included as an attachment.
