Description

I'm trying the multiband compressor that comes with ladspa plugins, it just doesn't have any effect.

This is the commandline:
mplayer file.mp3 -af ladspa=/usr/lib/ladspa/calf.so:Multibandcompressor:\
0:\
64:\

Those values are perfectly sane, in fact, they works as expected into jack-rack, a ladspa->jack wrapper
The #3 and #4 are volume boosters, i expect the output to be totally distorted, but in mplayer it just plays as nothing was changed.

Also, if i start mplayer with -v, i get:
ladspa: (/usr/lib/ladspa/calf.so:Multibandcompressor): this plugin has 48 input control(s)

--- 0 Bypass [... , ...]
--- 1 Input [0.00 , 64.00]
--- 2 Output [0.00 , 64.00]

...Note that there is no range for bypass, i tried to set it to 0 and 1, but no avail, seems that bypass is stuck to 1.

I suspect this to be a bug, because other ladspa effects are working fine.

don't mind the last "\:", it is a typo, and the bug persists with or without it, no changes
