GUI does not count .mp4 files as video files

Description
In the "Select file..." dialog for the gmplayer GUI, files with extension ".mp4" do not show up when "Video files" is selected as the file type to show, even though gmplayer _can_ play these files when they are selected after switching the file type to "All files".
To reproduce:
1) Open gmplayer
2) Go to Open... -> Play file...
3) Navigate to a directory that contains a .mp4 file
4) Select "Video files" and observe that the .mp4 file does not show up
5) Select "All files" and observe that the .mp4 file shows up. Select it and observe that it plays correctly.
Expected:
The .mp4 file should show up in step 4.
This bug was experienced on Debian testing amd64 with the Debian mplayer package version 1.0~rc1-13.
Should be fixed in SVN r23080
