Description
Using media-video/mplayer-1.0_rc4_p20091026-r1:0 under Gentoo I observed, that I have to specify
$> mplayer download/arte.ts -ss 0:5
to seek 10 seconds ahead from the start. I recorded the file with :
$> mplayer -dumpfile ~/download/arte.ts -dumpstream dvb://"arte(ARD)"
w/ a TerraTec XSS USB stick.
BTW viewing the recorded stream with gxine shows that gxine suffers from the same bug too b/c it reports only half of the real recorded length.
Maybe it is a bug in an underlying shared library ?
