Description
mplayer crashes when I try to play TS MPEG-2 videos recorded with Hauppauge!
WinTV NOVA-T DVB card. The videos are presentation stream (PS) files. It
doesn't happen with all the files that the card produces, only some.
I first noticed this problem with XBox Media Console and I tried the same file
with the Windows version 1.0pre7-3.4.2 of mplayer and that also crashed. The
error happens at about 5 minutes from the beginning of the uploaded file.

I tried using the "-vfm ffmpeg" switch and the video didn't make mplayer
crash. Don't have a linux around for using the dd command. Tried using
TMPGEnc, but it won't go past the point where mplayer crashes.

try -vfm ffmpeg, and please try to upload shorter samples (try using dd, MPEG2
files usually have little problems with brute-force editing *g*), it is too big
for me to download.
